Over the past year, the family has taken up the hobby of letterboxing. The adults get to exercise their minds on the clues and their bodies with the hiking. The kids get to learn how to follow directions and use a compass. Best of all, everyone gets a reward for doing it - a new stamp in our log book. The family goes by the trail name of "Scattered Showers", so I carved a weather-related stamp for each member of the family.
These stamps are fairly large (1" x 2" each) and a bit cumbersome for stamping, so smaller versions may be coming in the future.
Inspiration of the Moment -
‘To stimulate creativity, one must develop the childlike inclination for play and the childlike desire for recognition.’
